Meet the folks behind Kindness For Cats Inc!!

Cindy & fostersCindy became a volunteer for Orange County Animal Services in 2005 and was the first foster parent who was not an OC government employee. Since then she has fostered over 1,000 cats and kittens and even a few puppies and dogs. Early on she discovered her biggest challenge as a foster parent was letting go of her foster cats, not knowing their adopters and if they would continue to receive the TLC she provided them while in her care. She started doing everything she could to find adopters for her fosters, including placing signs in her yard, flyers in local stores and networking through friends and family. From there Kindness For Cats was born so she could take her foster felines to the internet where they would get much more exposure. It was a natural progression to create the KFCI website and make it a resource for everything cat related. KFCI has remained a small organization by design, consisting of a few foster parents whose passion was and still is cats!
