Welcome to Kindness For Cats, Inc!

KFCI is a small group of foster parents who volunteer for Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) in Orlando, FL.  We provide safe, comfortable and stress-free environments for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned at the shelter and attempt to find them permanent loving homes while in our care.  Please click on the "Kittens & Cats" tab at the top of the page for photos and information about our furry friends available for adoption.

KFCI also promotes spaying and neutering, the key to combating the heart-wrenching problem of unwanted pet over-population and so many deaths of healthy, friendly kittens and cats. We believe that education and information for all pet owners is also imperative. We've created this website in part to provide resources for those seeking information on a variety of cat topics.

Check out our page Highlights & Accomplishments to learn more about what we do!  Thank you for visiting!

**Please note: KFCI is unable to take in cats and kittens outside of Orange County Animal Services.  We are a very small group whose main focus is on the feline population at OCAS due to the thousands of stray or surrendered cats and kittens euthanized there every year.  We have created and linked many resources on this website hoping to help those of you needing assistance.  Please see the "Cat Care" & "Resources" menu at the top of this page for a list of information.

Hello!  My name is Shannon and I am looking for my one and only furever family.  I am a young cat (I am told I am just a little over 1 year).  I would prefer and do much better in a quiet home with no other pets or young kids (not a deal-breaker but I don't like loud noises more about Shannon
Houdini is a very special kitty.... He was a bottlebaby who didn't seem to grow up very quickly.  He was over 7 wks old before he hit the 1 lb mark, but now he is growing nicely and has a veracious appetite.  He may stay a small kitty though, but who knows?  This little guy more about Houdini
Sabrina is a 10 week old playful and adventurous girl. She likes to be in high places and watch over the room. She also likes to hide under beds if she’s feeling shy or inside boxes to pounce on her siblings. She likes to lay on her back for belly rubs. Adoption is less than $40 and more about Sabrina
